Thanks Bob and goomer. I like doing time lapse. Not really hard once you get the hang of it. I don't believe the metering the camera says is correct, and usually end up at +1 to +2 ev...........thekman

Very well indeed, thekman. Both shots have their own merits. The first one seems to outweight though, enriched with the beach and the clouds. On the other hand the reflection from the apartment lights in the second shot does not go unnoticed.
Maybe there's a way to combine these elements into one :idea:

Thanks Ollie. Well it's not Vancouver, but West Vancouver - a suburb of Vancouver across a bridge and a wee bit west......thekman.

Mountain Hawk-these weren't bulb shots. The first was f/[email protected], and the 2nd was f/[email protected] It was almost totally dark for the 2nd shot. The exif data is there for viewing if you want to see what settings I used.....thekman.

Thanks for the comments Bahadir. I also prefer the first one. The waves putting a silky film over the sand make this one for me......thekman.
