I finally got the chance to get out this evening and use my camera; I've been so busy working and studying lately I haven't even been able to play with my new toy! I went out about an hour before sunset and started taking pictures; I was just walking around on my college campus and couldn't find a good, clear spot to take sunset pictures so I decided to include otherwise hideous powerlines in the picture. Overall, I'm pretty satisfied given it was my first sunset photo shoot.

Very nice picture, Justin. I like the dark navy blue (almost black)sky turning into orange. I'd suggest a bigger size tomagnify the impact of the sunset!

Nice work with limited subject matter Justin. I know just how you feel when you've got the urge to take photos but you're stuck at home in suburbia with no scenery at hand.....

Ollie :-)

No doubt those wires are westward bound to pick up their electricity from Columbia River hydroelectric power!

Very nice visual metaphor on the blend of nature and technology.
