Nice photo Justin!

Yes Ted - you can do this with a D50.

What do you focus on when doing that? The trees?

Yeah, I manually focused on the treelines.

It was slightly hard to focus as it was almost completely dark out; it was more of guessing.

Very nice shot, Justin! I've tried that myself a few times, but no luck yet. Part of the problem is I need to find someplace that isn't so completely surrounded by tall trees. The abundance of mature trees is one thing that prompted me to move to my current home, but it puts a crimp in that kind of photography. :-)

Dave and Justin,

It's my belief that all of our cats were separated at birth!

Here's a picture of Riley...

Either that, or they're cloning more than just sheep these days!

I was going to show Riley off when I saw Justin's cat but then when I saw Dave's, I couldn't be silent any longer! :-)

I wonder if there's a "Friends of Grey Tabbies" club out there!

Agreed with comments - love the colors in this shot, works a treat with the lightning happening, great shot!

its a shamethat we dont suffer manylightning storms down here in Hobart, would be great to have the chance to grab some snaps...

ciao.
