So sympathic to see the similar patterns from hikers of the world from different and distant locations. So is it the trail itself which we see as a red path going up on the right hand side of the image? My friends here calls me pathfinder:-) Btw, assuming that it has a start near a common road or settlement and a target, a final destination, what is the distance of this trail approximately?

That's a nice detail, and great colours!

Very nicely observed, John.

good morning bahadir┬* ....┬* this trail is approximately 3 miles long and ends at the head of Boynton Canyon┬* ....┬* the path isn't visible in this picture ...┬* the red dirt on the right is desert floor .... lots of iron in the soil.btw, NONE of my friends call me pathfinder! ┬* ┬*I'm always lost!

Drewaz, never mind! Tell them there's a method in it, because there's hardly a better way of learning the surrounding than getting lost!
Here, we even organize 'getting lost' hikes

Great capture, drewaz! The deep orange/rusty color of those rocks are very unusual (at least here in California).

Bahadir, hope you had a wonderful Birthday. Your table looks elegant and very appetizing. I wish you a year filled with happiness, peace and good health, just so you can continue your work through Steve's forums, giving us advise and sharing your expertise. Happy Birthday!
