a couple of shots of the sunset last night over Lake Washington... Canon 30D, Tamron 24-135 lens at 1/250, f9.0...

the sun was just dipping below a band of cloud, and lit up the sky and a bright spot on the water near the far shore...

then as itstarted to godown behind the lower cloud bank, a path of gold across the lake...

Nice shots Squirl. I like the 1st the best. I guess you can appreciate the better dynamic range using the dslr as opposed to the FZ. It is quite a bit better in this respect. That tamron lens is nice. Almost bought one, but opted to the Sigma - too good a deal to pass up on ebay.......Don.
