We've been getting hit with some pretty severe storms the past few days, here was another approaching. I ran outside and snapped a few shots off before it started raining buckets on us.

I thought the cloud formation was quite fierce...like it had some attitude.

Now how can such a flat cloud rain much?
Good Cumulonimbus Capillatus is much much higher... also this is just ordinary Cumulonimbus Calvus. (and it's big hails which counts, not water)

...unfortunately supercells are very rare here in Finland.
