Default Which one

This picture (you've already seen) I happen to really like. The washed out sky annoyed me as it was washed out and spoiled the composition (me thinks).

So I cropped it out and I think it's much better.

Do you agree?

WELL!!, do ya punk?

Much better Clint!

I think its a bit difficult and a matter of taste. What hit my mind was, why you didn't crop the bottom...instead of the sky ? But I suppose it depends of what you want to show with you pic.

I didn't want to lose anything from the bottom as nothing offends my eye down there.

For what my opinion is worth

I'm with Klaus as far as these things are personal taste (not withstanding camera books/courses setting down should's and shouldnt's), but for me I would again agree with Klaus as regards the cropping - for me the yellow is too bright and takes my attention AWAY from the rest of the scene.

Whereas cropping the bottom and leaving the top - the diagonals in the image lead the eye to the mountain - which I relly like.

Just my opinion - we all have em !
