I noticed these Amish men working in this field this afternoon, I waited till after dinner when the light was better and ran down the road and took a few shots.

Very nice series, Bob. I had such a romantic idea that the Amish reject modern vehicles and machinery alltogether. Or are they the ones who work outside of their territory to to support their families? You know ..economy and culture relationship!

Thank you bahadir! We have several Amish groups living in our area, some are very conservativeold order and some are more liberal new order but all share most of the same core beliefs. It's not uncommon to see them use tractors for farm work then get in thier horse and buggy to go to town as this photo from a earlier time shows.

Hi Bob. I like the first photos in this thread, but this last one you added on is outstanding! Very good mood to it. B&W could be a nice touch to this one too.....cheers.....Don.
