Hi All,



I went for a hike today and found this little cove. This is my first picture post this this forum. I welcome any and all comments. By the way I shot it around Noon . Thank you.

Hi bluwing and welcome to the forum. Nice first attempt. Try and get a bit less of the foreground tree branches and some more of the view next time.

Thanks! I was trying to get that look of peeking into the cove. Not much room where I was shooting from, Besides I was kneeling in the mud to get this one.....:-)

I too favour the first one . One is drawn into the depts of the grove through an opening indicated by a touch of light between pinetrees on the other bank of the water. However, about 1/5 crop from above will bring more attention to the the body of water on whose bottom we can easily trace the path of light which has again become visable on our side captured successfully first by your eyes and then by your legendary camera :-)

Thank you for the advice. The funny thing is that I did not crop that picture. I guess I should have... Any and all is welcome. Never to old to learn.. :-)But about the legendary Camera, Well ....... LOL!!!
