This is wildfire season in Arizona, and there is a large fire burning a few miles north of Sedona. I hiked this area a few weeks ago, and tonight it is threatened by the fire that is moving down into the valley. This isn't a great photo, but I wanted to share some of the area's beauty, and to show what can disappear when people are careless with fire.

Yep, that's a nice spot, not much water in that creek, so you can see how dry it must be.

Very lovely spot for the lunch break during the hike indeed, with a beautiful creek to refresh the the tired souls and their feet I hope the location is saved. So, I'll be glad if you let us know about its destiny. As with my daughter,I just feel awful to hear or see such beauties burning in any part of the world.
