Thanks Ollie . . .

I tried a number of exposures to get just the right image of the sun on the branch tip. Gotta love digital since you can experiment so much! :-) It was only later that I spotted the person and their dog on the beach. It really added to the picture I thought . . .

Nice shots Peter. I especially like the composition of #1 (the tip of the branch lit up like ET's finger) and #4 (love the way the fence snakes from foreground to background)

Cheers,
Ollie

Peter, very nice, especially the 3rd, but what the devil are those little yellow thingies at the bottom?

Thanks Tazzi :-)

We are not 100% sure about the yellow thingies . . . we figure its' mustard plants . . .

Regardless, they sure added some punch to the scene!

Thanks Squirl . . . :-)

I can tell you exactly where that road goes. Top of the hill where my daughter lives on 25 acres . . . over looking the valley. Bottom of the road goes to a couple of ranches with nice rolling hills. They have quite a few horses with colts running around on those ranches . . . great place for a walk . . .
