went down to the lake this evening for the sunset. it was very hot here... mid 90's in my back yard, which is very rare here, even in mid-summer... anyway, the sun had just gone below the horizon when i got there, but i hung around for the colors that followed.. these are straight from the camera, no PP except resizing and a touch of sharpening... Canon 30D with Tamron 24-135.

Nice shots Squirl. You got some cloud to help. Not a cloud in the sky here for last 2 days. HOT!! Supposed to maybe hit 96 here tomorrow. Very unusual......cheers.....Don.

Absolutely beautiful shots, especially the sky. My only issue, and it is slight are the features in the bottom right of the shot, i think they may be the tops of boats as i think i can make out a steering wheel! I find they distract from the shot. Easilly fixed in PS though!

yeah, there were a couple of Jet Skis on a dock, i was trying to shoot over them and still get some of the lake in the shot... i didn't do any PP to these last night, but if i ever print them, i'll clone the Jet Skis out!
