The area on the left side of the lake has been sold for a 500 million dollar development....housing, championship golf course, equestrian centre, marina, etc. Damn shame.

Gorgeous place. Looks like it should be a provincial park rather than a commercial development site. I'm glad you captured a shot of it as it is now - I'm afraid it won't look like this much longer. :sad:

Hi Goomer. Great shot. Captures the true look of our Interior. Too bad about that developement. I sure love the Interior. Want to live there someday...cheers....Don

Really? You'd love to live here? I guess I'm tired of Van. Been here all my life, and the changes and population density gets to me sometimes-traffic is a joke at most times. The city has lost it's "innonence" from what I remember, and I guess I've lost my love of the area. Not to mention the 120 straight days of gray skies we seem to get once winter rolls in. What a whiner I am. It's probably one of the best cities in the world to live in. Just what you're used to I guess.....cheers......Don.
