Same area but note the headland to the right. It is called Greeps Head. Greep is the local name for the bald eagle which nests in the region.

the water is clear but very cold, thus the lack of crowds!!

Very nice, a great looking place. Out of interest were you in some kind of observation tower or something for those first two?

Have you noticed how the best looking beaches are in really cold places ? :G

Not an observation tower but on a trail which crossed a small headland between 2 beaches. There is a walking trail, with some board walks and stairs, one of which you see in the photo. The area is in a provincial park so is protected. The beaches host an endangered species, the piping plover which nests in the area adjacent to the dune grass.

No 5 is the pick of them for me. I really like these shots. What a beautiful place.
