As Summer Fades Reprise. Another gorgeous late summer evening in the Okanagan. I took these two pics while walking in a lakeside park in my home town of Vernon. Normal Light mode, Fuji S5200.

I found the first shot more attractive especially because of the introduction of the girl contemplating.

I also was puzzled by the fact that in the first shot what appears to be buoys in the water have disappeared almost completely in the second shot.

Aloha and thanks for sharing.

Hi Toshi! I like both of these for different reasons, #1I like the way you used the trees to frame the scene of the person contemplating and #2 I love the way the rays of the sun are playing in the hills in the background. Nice work!

Thanks very much, Selvin and Bob. Selvin, the buoys haven't disappeared, they just aren't all visible - I took these two shots from very different locations along the beach. This is another shot I took just as the sun was setting - the framing is similar to the first two, but I think it has a different feel to it. Thanks again.:bye:

With your latest upload, now there are three shots which I quite like They are all capable of conveying the mood strongly that I almost felt myself standing there under the trees and enjoy the serenity of the scene..Although the contemplative girl standing there adds greatly to the image introducing human aspect and size serving the scale, the rays, Bob mentioned above, make great contribution to determine my preference.
In this case, Toshi, I think you should appoint her to the second photo via PS
