Default Memorial Day - 5 photos

Here are some photos of my son placing flags at the veterans cemetery for the memorial day celebration. Was wondering if anyone could give me some tips on taking photos in bright sunlight - many pics looked very dark - should I have used a flash? What setting is best?

thanks for your feedback!

Nice capture of the day and good memories. Your backgrounds all seem nicely exposed but your subjects are on the dark side. Yes, try using some fill flash(preferably an external flash) to increase the exposure on your subjects and the next ones will get even better.

For these you could try a little fill adjustment in Lightroom, PPhotoshop, or ACR, or whatever you are using. That could help a little.
