Trying out the new 50D. I had my son helping out with a reflective auto-shade to try to pick up a bit of sunlight. 1/80s f/1.8 ISO 125. Canon 50mm f/1.8 lens. C&C welcome..

The cam and lens are working really well for you.
Really nice saturation (blue fabric color). Wish I could get that kind of saturation on my 20D (maybe if I crank up a parameter). Nice bokeh in the background. The only minor comment is the choice of framing at the bottom of the frame - looks a little chopped off (but that's overly picky). Great shot! |

The out of focus bent knee is a bit distracting in this shot. A tighter crop of this shot would help focus more on your beautiful daughter.

Very pretty model for you! That pose might have worked better if you had shown all of her in the picture. I agree it looks a little unnaturally chopped off.
