Superb. Perfect pp. You shot a person indeed. Quite a challenge.
May be a subtle cropping on the top can help: ![]() |

That is one great shot. I think Karsch is sitting up taking note of that one. Just for that zit it would be perfect. Of course you are going to hear people say over the top and very unnatural looking and my eyeball only would be 2.4 of this and 1.3 of that. Well f&2k em Im say. Great shot. Next time take some notes. Id like to know what you did here. Starting with the click of the shutter.

Id like to see more portraits like this. Its one of the best Ive ever seen. I really like this look. You have great lighting and the details in the skin is perfect. The side light in front of his left ear but not blown out. No shadows causing fill in like under the chin with it detail. Even the color coming through his left ear and the details of his hair. Man this is the best yet. Of course, you started with a great shot so job better way better than well done.

This is just great!
I love it. Such a good portrait with a slight (I think?) Dragan-effect thrown in? So sharp, crisp and well lighted - like Bynx sais - and you didn't exactly make it easy for yourself neither, putting him in fron of that window with them 'attention-seeking' horizontals all the way - not something I would have dared, but you pulled it off nicely! Well carried out all the way! (greeeeen with envy) BTW - What lens did you use? |

ok here is the original shot so you can see the difference
![]() ![]() i puesdo'd it , then with photoshop essientials i added a little clarity and a slight clean cut orton and then finally resized resampled with infranview which cancelled some of the orton as i added sharpness too ![]() as for the lens im not sure could have been the missus 18 - 105 or my 50 mm ?
