This is a photo of my paternal grandparents and family taken shortly after arriving in the "new country" from Russia. My father (second from right) was, fortunately, kidnapped just before the family's ship sailed from Liverpool, England. The family remained until my father was found on another ship that was preparing to leave port. I'm guessing that he was to be used as a cabin boy. The family ended up coming to America on the S.S. Ansonia because of missing their original boat, the Titanic.

Cool story. Are you going to try and repair the lines that run through the photo?
This took about 10 minutes in elements. It cleaned up the line a little.

Hi Streets
Your family story is very moving and really appreciated. It helps set the picture in history and in our minds much more meaningfully. I have seen so many times 'bad things' turn out for the good in the long run. Am glad you have that photo, and nice touch up by lomitamike. All the best. Paul |

I appreciate the touch up work by Lomitamike although, in a photo that's nearly 100 years old, a few wrinkles aren't really out of place. Thanks to all of you for your comments.
