Hi, Happy New Year to you all,

Here's a couple of shots i took over the christmasholidays with my new nikon sb800 flash, Alas it didn't arrive until saturday so no xmas morning shots :( , These where straight from the box as i havn't had time to study the" Encyclopedia":shock: (sorry) Hand book yet. I must say i'm impressed with the unit!. Kind regards Graham.

Having selected the slow sync. for the flash(I think!) you've achievedquite natural looks with mellowed colours as ifpurelyexploiting the available light.. I'd also expect to see your macro shots with your new unit!You must be happy bidding farewell to'flashy' looks, my friend:cool:

Thank you Bahadir for your comment. Yes I tried both ends of the spectrum on shutter speed settings ( this is allI knew at the time of taking):roll:. I have since set the lower shutter speed setting on my camera (for flash sync) even lower so hope for some nice low sync pics soon. As for macro the only macro i posses is at the 200mm end of a 70-200 F2.8 zoom so i don't know at the moment how effective the flash could be at this extreme. (Any advice would be most welcome).
