I don't know Walter. I don't care for that effect on a portrait. Especially on such a beautiful girl.
Maybe on another not as attractive individual in another setting but not for this one.

I agree with Mike and Jehan regarding the first version.
This one is much better, Walter. =) I notice there's quite a bit of noise in the dark areas behind her. Was this shot at high ISO? Or is this a result of editing; pushing contrast, perhaps? |

Taken in 2009 with a Canon 40D at 800 ISO. It was a heavy crop from a larger photo with another person.

I like it a lot better. There seems to be loss of detail in hair and face. Looks like too much noise reduction? Is it still being run through Topaz?
