I am celebrating my new purchase...rather a gift for my first marriage anniverssary. A studio flash. and here goes my first shot...just shot while setting up the flash....definitely better than my struggle with 285HV's. This shot was converted from sRAW to JPEG in DPP and resized in office picture viewer. Saved in Paint to reduce size. So the artifacts are mainly due to compression.....

Great depth of field and focusing there as well as exposure. I even like the poses. For a first shot with new flash looks like you have it down already. Doesnt look like flash but rather side lighting through a window. Good job.

Two really nice shots, thoe I prefer the first, nice and sharp, I think the lighting is very good.
