Years ago the line was "Bring your guitar", now it's "bring your camera!"

Thank you...There is no exif data on these as I copied and pasted from Flickr(don't do that often). The setup I used is Sony A300 Dslr with the Minolta 70-210 f/4 "Beercan". Used fill flash on a number of the pics to lessen harsh shadows, since most of these were taken in bright sunlight just after noon.

ps All pics were shot wide open, at f/4

People look at you funny when you use an external outdoors, but it can make a HUGE difference. Indoors, with bounce from ceiling or wall, it's just phenomenal!

Wonderfully beautiful photos.

Thanks Mike and Ruthless, and to all who responded, I'm frankly blown away! I do the best I can with what I have, and it's very encouraging to get this kind of positive feedback. Thanks again!

Quick question for the pros on here...

Which lens and setting do I need on my canon xsi, in order to capture pictures like the OPs?

Thx

Wonderful moments to last a lifetime. I loved all of these as they really showed how blessed you are. I like the composition in each shot along with the vibrant colours. Lucky you....here in Ontario, Canada Spring is slowly creeping our way.

Hawgwild Apr 14, 2010 8:20 PM

Thanks, Shutterbug74, for the kind words. Hang in there, summer will be there before you know it!

shoturtle Apr 14, 2010 9:11 PM

You have a very lovely family there. The photos are great, I agree the fence shot is a great capture.

Hawgwild Apr 14, 2010 10:06 PM

Shoturtle, thanks for the kind words, yes I feel blessed. I think family is very important, and gives me many chances to do what I love, which is take pictures, and view other's pics. This is a great site.
