Default Son with guitar

Our youngest, Matthew, turned 25 yesterday and received his grandfather's 1941 Martin guitar. He's been playing for 10 years and is quite accomplished on the instrument.

That's a good PIX.

Martin's a great guitar and for it being 1941 vintage it looks effectively new.

YA, I used to play lots (guitar full time in all kinds of bands). Still have my 1962 Gibson (bought it new) and even wore it out a few times (ie, had to have it re-fretted). (Apparently that model is now seen in show cases as a collector piece.)

He looks pleased to be playing that guitar. Watch out Garth.
