A cool shot. I could maybe suggest a few pp

i took my shot at this image.

1) Used a tighter crop
2) INcreased mid tone contrast to deepen image
3) Enhanced features in the face to make them pop out a bit more.
4) very light noise reduction

Tried it again but warmed it slightly to give it a bit of a sun look

your first attempt is the better in my opinion, the original i posted was converted straight from raw and resampled to fit the site, ive played with the image a tad but nothing serious, its good to see what other people would do.

Ok i went back to the raw and reduce some of the noise there and adjusted the levels to what i think looks alright so heres the retry
