My 11 year old daughter and I spent last weekend camping/paddling on the Noosa river. Satuday drizzled then bucketed, Sunday was perfect!

Looks really tranquil there Kenb, looking at the packs on your little ones canoeyou where out for a while.Really nice scene!! Graham

Thanks Graham.

The packs are foam bed rolls. Nice and light but not real comfortable!

Some of the water wassuch a perfect mirror,itwas almost a crime to paddle on it!

Great shot...and very pastoral and calming. This is gonna look real good in about 2 months, when there's snow up to our knees and wind howling.

My kids have never seensnow. (1,400 k's south in the mountains)

I'll think ofyou though when it's 40 degrees C hereon Christmas day!

We had to travel a couple hundred km to West Virginia before my son could see mountains!

And likewise, we'll be thinking of you during our Independence Day celebration, on the 4th of July, when your fingers are too numb to take a picture!:lol:

I have know it toget down to 6 degrees C on a winter's night in Brisbane!
