My first post (well with a photo anyway).

Canon EOS Digital Rebel
ISO 100
No Flash
No Cropping (other than resized for posting)

In that case welcome and congratulations for stepping out an posting your first shot....... it wasn't too painful I hope LOL!!

This is an interesting shot and I really the timing capturing the wave breaking. I'm not sure if it is the framing or that the horizon is cutting through the head but there is something about the shot that it stopping it being top notch, having said that it is still cool and something that I will have to have a go at in the future.

Looking forward to seeing more of your posts now that you have taken the plunge (pardon the pun)!!

I love the shot, looks very tropical and care free. I have to agree the horizon does have an effect but it doesn't take away the beauty of what was being achieved. The only real concern I could see was the shadow at the left of the picture. Over all I think the photo is a classic, well done!!

nice timing and composition in this shot. the colours are also very nice. q veruy unique shot. very well executed
