taken with some basic incandescent lighting, shot in raw coverted with finepix studio, some post processing to clear the skin and alter the colours and levels slightly, let me know what you think

hi mate

this shot is excellent. Comp is great and tht blue arnd the eyes add the next level to the shot. PP work is great

excellent shot mate, you should be very happy with this one

I like the photo and the subject. but my eyes keep getting drawn to the bottom left of the photo where her right arm wants to blend in with the back ground. More contrast in this area and you've got a winner!

heck it could just be my monitor. . :?

The arm and background do get fairly close in color, but they are easily discernable in both of the monitors at my PC. However, that may not be the case with my stinky IBM Thinkpad T22 at work.

It's a great pic. I've never been on Myspace, but I'd bet this is one of the best user photos there.

On my calibrated crt and my crap tft-lcd on my laptop there is a clear distinction between the arm and backing.

I think the shot is fine as it

Yeah, I looked at it on my POS laptop LCD at work and I could easily discern between the arm and the background. I think it's soliz's monitor.
