Just thought I would share some of my shots I've taken. These are my 2 beautiful girls. I'm by NO means a professional, just a SAHM who loves to take pics! These were all taken with the Canon Power Shot S3IS which I just sold and purchased the Rebel XT. Enjoy! Any advice is greatly appreciated, thanks!

Bobbi12472,

Beautiful portraits IMO. I am no professional either but I would pay money for these. My favorites are #1, #3, #5, #9 and #14. What kind of lighting and backdrop did you use?

Thank you Debbie That makes me feel good because I'm seriously thinking about making doing photography on the side. All I use for lighting is natural light and the backdrop is just a piece of material I bought at Walmart and then I use photo explosion deluxe and picasa to enhance them a bit It works

Nice work. One key to creating good pics is having subjects who don't mind being photographed. Looks like you've got a few subjects who are ready and willing. If you want to do photography on the side, create a portfolio online, do some research, and there's plenty of work to be done. I'm looking at BigBlackBag.com for hosting my portfolio, they have a really, really nice system. Good luck, and keep up the nice work, looking forward to seeing more. PS: Your post got moved here mainly because you posted more than 1 pic. If you want C&C, just post a single picture, and ask for comments.

These are all wonderful shots, but I keep coming back to the first shot in the series. The contrasts make this a truly special shot. You have shots you will treasure for many years.
