For me the colour version is better... there's not enough contrast in light/dark for b-w for my liking.. however.. doesnt mean i dont like the b-w

Sure others can give a more technical feedback than me though........

colour shot is lovely and warm and captures the mood delightlfully

try something different on the black n white to warm it up, looks too blue to me, sepia may be warmer and better

but that colour version realy works for me, you caught a moment of youthful inocence there !!!

I like the color version.

In the B&W image, her face looks blotchy, but in color, they're just freckles.

That's what B&W does to Red.

Great capture, btw.

I like the #1 with greenish colour tinge.Very moody and have different feel.Colour too is good.but #1 has something diffrent to offer.Lovely picture

Gary, Tcav & Mcliu thank you all for your comments and advice :-),

Tcav, i see what you mean about the blotchy skin ( never noticed it when i p&p'd it,

maybe i'll try a different approach to toning it,

Mcliu, i also preffered #1 but i will try to iron out the skin tones.

Gary, i did try a sepia version but with so much brown in the original it didn't look much different:shock:, thats why i whent for the blue colder moodier image.
