This is my eldest daughter, she had her hair 'done', so we had another play
around with the lights last night and i really liked this one of her...

little too close, if the subject was more of the hair persay, i wouldnt crop it out/ cut it off in the orig. picture

just my 2 cents.

I'd like to see ou re-shoot her wider angle so we can see more of her shoulders and space around her hair

i agree with the crop actually.

another thing, i would have selectively sharpened the eyes and hair a bit. left the skin a little soft.

Yeah sharpening the hair would make sense with this crop......

Nice shot of a pretty gal! I agree that the crop is too close, but that's an opinion. I'm a dentist and from my perspective, she could benefit from teeth bleaching. The yellow shade she shows usually bleaches well and would make her smile even prettier and whiter (without PP). (If in-office bleaching is too expensive, she could try an OTC product. They usually work -- they just take longer.)
