Default Self Portrait - B&W

Thought Id test something out. I don't know if it worked out.
Picture taken in M mode with 1/250 sync flah (built in flash) @ f/20 with my 50mm Sigma Macro.

you have zombie eyes the lighting i like what about without the eyes popped? or a softer black and white (lighter)

simple - haha, yeah, maybe I do...or maybe I AM a zombie... my day/night cycle sure isn't telling me I'm a human, haha..

ordo - huh...maybe I had my eyes to opened up? I never do self portraits so I don't really know what's a big nono and what works.

Here's one without the eyes "unpopped"


-Also, something must've gone weird with the tones. I know so dSLRs of the Nikon family often have exagurrated tones and warmth, but... Last time I checked I had blue eyes with a green core... this seem to have made my eyes go more green... Weird I didn't see that taking the picture, but hey...atfer being awake for 19 hours, what's your brain to do, haha..

EDIT : Here's a close-up of my eye (with corrected tones. I had to go -20 in Lightroom which is quite substantual. If I was any bright when I think of it, I should've done it in RAW and used kelvins but...)

yeah, it definetly is.... also, I got the problem with my overly saturated and miscolored eyes... White Balance was set to Cloudy -.-
