Default The Orange Flower

Having seen NHLs recent modeling photo's, It's inspired me to practice some portraiture photography.

Of course I'm using the most expensive model I can afford (my wife), and using the most exotic location (my back yard) at mid-day.

Also I will be using the best lighting system possible ( the sun and a windshield reflector).

The theme of this shoot is the orange flower and I tried to use it as part of the scene. I spent about a total of 15 minutes in thought and preparation for this shoot.

CC is appreciated.

Got bored tonight and started looking at older posts. I must have been out of town or something when you posted this. These are very nice, adventurous..I really need to start shooting more adults.

Thank you Timinator, hercules and Robert.

It was a lot of fun having her pose for me. She is not willing very often so I really try to make the most out of each opportunity I get.
I agree the first one is better, her face was squinting from the reflector on the second one. It's hard to keep your eyes wide open with all the light shining on you.
I find that a really good time to ask her to pose is right after she buys some new clothes, she's really wants to show them off.

Here's a couple of more from the same day in another dress.

Photographs and compositions are very good. Model needs to work more on expression. (just kidding)

In the first photo, the model's expression was quite impressive though.
