Default Bella turns two...film at eleven

Bella turns two on Wednesday, the 13th, so we celebrated on Sat, the 9th, at the mall. There is a party place for kids called the Gymboree where we held the party. I decided to take my camera and the Sony 50 mm f 1.4 lens only, and use the on-board flash if I needed one at all. These are all a little noisy, I didn't use any noiseware on them, and only a minimum of post-processing. Overall, I wasn't extremely happy with the results, but later I intend to de-noise them and see how they do. Anyway, these are among the best I took, so you see I'm in trouble! On the last one, you can really see the noise. I started to remove it but will leave it lol

Thanks Kaaryn! This may be the best shot I took. She was crawling through the tube, so I switched to live-view and dropped the camera down to her level. She was so fast all day I had to constantly improvise. Now I know why babies are for young people!

A few more. All in all, it's a mixed bag..I am getting too old for this. I think I need some aspirin..

This one was easy, she wasn't moving...

She got a little make-up kit, so she's trying to put some on mommy. What mommy doesn't know is Nana (my wife) already taught her how to put it on lol. What she doesn't know won't, oh, wait...

About to come down the slide. This is the kind of shot I was trying to make without using the flash. I need to be younger...

One more. This was very bright, so I did some selective burning to darken it up and make it more "intimate" Bella loves to share...

Happy Birthday Bella!

More great shots Hawgwild. Short of your aspirin intake increasing, she must be a blast to photogragh.

Thanks, Laurie! Yeah, she is actually pretty easy to photograph. I think I said this somewhere else, but, she's had a camera "in her face" since she was Six minutes old. She is very comfortable around them lol.

the first 2 of both sets are really good. i think with a little effort you can denoise the others as well. all are surely adorable though!

Thanks, Dustin, you are WAY too kind. I will try the denoise thing. I was very disappointed to say the least, when I saw these on the monitor.
