Default The Fair's in town

We took my granddaughter to the fair Tuesday. Got there about an hour before dark, so I knew I was in for a challenge. Most of these were shot at iso 800, a few at 400, and all were shot with my trusty Tamron "do all" 28-300 xr if and my old Sony A300. This thing is a real dog in low light, with visible noise at 400, and real bad at 800, imo. I need a new camera! LOL. Please enjoy.

1) View of the fair grounds from the ferris wheel.

2) Another view, higher. As I was shooting, the wheel was in motion, so I wasn't sure how these would turn out.

3)Bella and Nana, on the Merry-go-round

4)This guy was in a petting zoo, and did a lot of crowing.

5)Feeding the Llama

6)This meal you might find at the "Hard Rock" cafe. LOL

7)And last, but not least, two piglets going at it. The attendant let them go for a few moinutes, then separated them. They didn't do any harm, but they were entertaining.

Thanks for looking, and, as always, critique, comments welcome.

Robert, these are wonderful. It's been ages since I've been to a fair and this one looks like a lot of fun.

Hi Gary, yeah, they are different when you view them from the perspective of a three year old! LOL

Thanks, Cole! While I have your attention, I wanted to favorably comment on your Germany pics. I always intend to come back and comment, and you see what happens, lol.

Simon, they grow so quickly, it takes all I can do to keep up with her (photographically). My aim is to photograph her life and make her an album some day.

With that being said, You need to backup all your photo's multiple times and keep them in different places.

That's the bad thing about digital photo's, there so easy to loose.

I had a scare last week so I'm going to take some more measures to do my best not to loose anything. I don't ever want that scare again.

Great night shots, there so sharp.
