Default Bella turned three

On October 13. I just happened to be there with my trusty camera, and took a few. I know, more grandbaby pics lol...

1) Gettin' ready to blow out the candles with Daddy.

2)Not sure what she was looking at here

3)Possibly my favorite reason for birthday parties!

4)Helping daddy open a gift

5) Pa in Law and heather, Steve's fiance

6) Heather, just behind the "tea fountain"

7)Sure, she's hyper, but she's just a baby! I sprung her about halfway through the party.

Thanks for viewing!

Three already?

Nice use of the flash Robert. The expression on the little girls face as Bella and dad are blowing out the candles is great.

Nice shootin grandpa.

Thanks, Mike. I try to bounce my flash when possible, to avoid harsh shadows from front-lit shots. The dodge tool will lighten up areas nicely that the flash can't get to lol

Happy Birthday, Bella! She sure is growing.

Love the colors on this series, as well as the ones you posted from the fair.

I'm seeing very nice picks (you certailny got the moment) but color over saturation.

Thanks for the critique,Ordo. Yes, I probably tend to crank up the saturation, or at least balance the picture for skin tones, which will lead to over-saturation. I've been aware of it for some time, so I guess I need to look at it again. Thanks.

Hi Robert

Great photos... and such 'special moments' are to be treasured for a lifetime... and even better when grandpa can capture them so well! Indeed time does fly... I remember the 'baby photos' you posted of her.

You sure have a photogenic family!

I agree with Ordo, the saturation was a bit over done (and I am at work in lunch time, where my work monitor isn't the most 'contrasty').

I'm glad Laurie wrote about the (other) little girl's expression watching Bella... I hadn't noticed that on first view.

Thanks for sharing. Best wishes to you and your family.

Paul
