Default Bella at the park

Yesterday, my wife begged me to take Bella to the park, to get her "out of my hair". This is the first time I had been anywhere with Bella that didn't include my wife. It was kinda neat. These kids love to play. I seem to remember being like that a hundred years or so ago.
All these were taken with my Canon SX40HS. I was using shutter speed priority with auto iso, something I have never done. I have always used aperture mode, and a fixed iso. I think I might like the shutter speed mode. Will have to use it more.

1) Bella on the swing. Legs too short, I had to put her in it. She did the rest.

2) Her best friend in the whole world, Hannah, had no trouble getting in the swing, her legs are longer.

3)She thought it was cool going down the slide backwards. Kids are soo easily entertained!

Hannah had to do it too.

4) Some more on the slide.

And the last one....

Love it Grampa, great captures. Your wife is right, two can be a real handful.I sometimes get my two granddaughters out by myself and I'm wiped out by the end of the day.
Beautiful little girl you have there.
I like the first and last ones the best.

Lovely pictures on these two little darlings. The color in the pictures is really nice.

Hey Mike! Two months! How did I miss this? Thanks for the feedback. I have done a lot of shooting, but not much posting since Feb. Will try to put some new stuff up soon. Hope all is well in Calif.
