Default First Formal Photo Day With New Granddaughter

I had such a great day driving to three different locations to have my first outdoor photo shoot with my new granddaughter. We have been very fortunate with the warm weather. Perfect for taking a baby out to photograph.

It;s great that someone who can't even talk can make me laugh so much. I think Emma, Grandpa and the camera will be spending a lot of time together.

We started off with a fall theme. I knew of a location that had a lot of red fallen leaves from the liquid amber trees.

Next was a lighthouse / whale watching area a couple of miles down the road from our first stop. It has great views.

A tighter shot.

And our last stop was the beach at sunset.

And the last one.

Thanks for looking.

Nice set. I see you were able to get her hair under control. LOL!! I really like the first photo and the last photo the best. Looking forward to seeing many more.

She's a cutie! I like the lighting on the close-ups Mike. Only suggestion would be to level the horizon #2, 3,4 & 5.

Mike, these are superb. These kids seem to grow so fast, and right under our noses.

I agree with wolverines choices. The colors in the first pic are beautiful, and easily reflect the season.

I concur with Wingman on the level of the pics he listed. I borrowed one and straightened the horizon, and it made a big difference, at least to me.

Keep shooting, Grandpaw, I need to start shooting Bella more, it's been awhile.

I miss seeing pics of your other granddaughter. I know you miss her a lot.

Thanks for the replies. It seems the close-ups are the favorites.

Yes you absolutely should!!
Im sure she would love to spend the day with Grampa.Take her out and spoil her for the day. In the process you can get a lot of good shots of her. When your sure you've got a lot of good shots, then you can get her all wound up on sugar and send her home.

Thats what Grampa's are supposed to do.

Great stuff Mike. Enjoyed them all but the last is definitely my favorite. Great job showcasing her personality
