Default learning ocf with the family

so I have been busy reading - learning about OCF via speedlight I am now addicted I still have loads to learn but theses were shot on my first two outings with family members over the last 2 week

Well Simon your off to a running start. Obviously your prior experience with photography gives you an understanding of light that's better then most photographers who are just starting out.
Are you using TTL or doing things manually? It looks like you used at least 2 flashes on the last shot.
These shots are all excellent. I'm looking forward to seeing some of your shots after you learn.

thanks Mike everything to manual I also used a nd filter in the collage... yes two flashes were used in them all except the collage photos that was single bare sb910 and they are more or less as shot (straight from camera)... the others were with a sb700 as well

one of the hardest things is finding people to practice on

This is a great set. Looks like your son is having fun in the second shot. Your wife's eyes really pop in the last pic but I must say that the B&W picture is my absolute favorite! It's a great shot!
