Default Smoky Mountains trip

I have just returned from the Great Smoky Mountains with my wife and our granddaughter, Bella. I am still processing photos. I have included a few here, copied and pasted from Flickr. I will copy and paste the exif also, since it gets stripped in the copy/paste process.

This is a picture of Bella on a boulder in the middle of a stream, at the Chimney Tops trailhead, at the first bridge.

Exif: Sony SLT-A58
DT 18-135mm F3.5-5.6 SAM

iso 100
Flash (on, fired)

The creek she was standing in the middle of. My wife was stressing out over Bella jumping from one rock to another like it was everyday fare. I said to her that was the only way she could get the good picture.

Same creek, different perspective. All my shots were hand-held, because I was too lazy to hump a tripod on the trail.

This one wasn't as sharp as I would like it to have been, but her mom liked it, so I guess I do too. Ha!

Thanks for looking. I have some more I am working on, since I got home last night.

Thanks, Jim. Yeah, she's growing so fast it's hard to keep up with her.

I enjoy the Smokies, but am not into the strenuous hikes of yesteryear. Laurel Falls was strenuous enough for me.

I like them all - even #1 which seems, on my monitor, to be under exposed, but for #1 that fits !

Thanks. I agree, it seems a little dark. I couldn't make up my mind on this one, so I left it a is. I may have to look at it again, now that you mention it.
