Default Summertime Family Trip.

We took a family trip to the sequoias earlier this summer.
I went light ( NEX-6 & Canon S95) on this hike.

Some photo's from the trip.
1. Seeing her first big tree.

2. Walk thru tree.

3. Hiking on a fallen giant.

4. Mountain top portrait. Broke out the big camera for this one. (Correction, this was the nex-6 with the kit lens)

5. I had to get at least one sunset portrait. The big camera again.

Thanks for looking. I hope your family got out this summer too.

Nice pictures Mike. Looks like you had a good time. Those Sequoias are some BIG trees! I would love to visit there someday.

Thanks Robert,;

They are very impressive I've been lucky enough to have seen them many times and always jump at another opportunity to see them.

If you ever get serious about it shoot me a PM. I have a good friend that you have seen in some of my other post.

He owns a cabin very close to a grove of these trees and will rent it out on occasion.

That's a long trip for me, but if I ever head that way, I will sure give you a shout!
