Ferny, I stuck my photo on and i look like Joe Bugner after being hit in the face with a hammer. :-)
Nonsense!

Ferny- Thanks for that comment, but other (judgemental) teenage girls can be pretty harsh on appearance sometimes. But ahhhh I don't care about them! As Dr. Suess would say, "Those who mind don't matter, and those who matter won't mind." :-D I love that quote

This is neither the time nor the place for such a thing, Mark. And no, I will not join you.

Ok, I think that I suffer from CRP also. I'll have to do this gradually - it'll be cathartic :-)

Here's me many years ago. Look at the parked car in the background to get some idea of the year...

(sorry for the quality - a Brownie shot!)

Nice one geoffs, have you ever tried to restore that photo ?. I've read about people restoring old ones with photoshop. :-)

Thanks, Mark.

The picture I posted is a just a small area crop off of a larger picture (I cut my brother out). This particular picture is in good shape and probably doesn't need much restoral. However, I do have other shots from my grandparents from the early part of the 20th century where there has been much damage to the surface of the print. Some of these would look better restored, but I find that sometimes the damage adds to the mystique of the old photos. Here's an example:

OK - here goes mine. Keep in mind this was early morning, showing off my new hat and scarf (I taught myself to knit to make this set because I couldn't find one I liked in the store). Notice how the hat hides my lego head, Ferny and Pickles? Thought I'd have to expose my handicap, didn't you?!?:-)
