This is a couple of pics of me that the good wife was brave enough to take.

I shoot and coach indoor target archery at a local youth club

You look very intense Matt - wouldn't want to meet you in the woods during bow season :-)

BTW, is the out of focus greenish area the sight of the bow?

Very intense indeed. Also very trusting of your wife. Is that also a peep sight going through your drawstring? Have you always shot with 3 fingers below the arrow? Do you also bow hunt or just archery for the fun of it? Great DOF on both pics. I love your avatar, but I think that 2nd pic would make a great one as well. Lot of ?? I'll stop being nosey now...

OK GoCubs, I will admit the pics were setup as you obviously know a bit about archery, I only shoot three fingers below when shooting barebow, I normally shoot with a machanical release and yes there is a peep sight on the bowstring. The bow is a60lb PSE compound bow and issetup up for indoor target with rear peep, 1.5x magnified front sight, front stabaliser and normally I use a bow restraint on my bow hand. I don't bowhunt although I did once go out for a weekend hunting and didn't see a thing on a property that was meant to be over run with foxes and rabbits, but I did catch a cold seeing as it rained for 3 days:?

I shoot for fun, I have shot in state indoor titles, I also love coaching archery

and the wife sez she trusts me, but I still don't know why shesends a detectiveto follow meevery where I go??????????

Nice shots matt40 years ago I shot a little Indoor target with an Astro and all the goodies.. People told me once you get you first 300 on a five spot target the rest come easy you know I never got another 300 allways in the 290's but never another 300 . Any way glad you were using fingers at 60# I have seen release go off accidently and I bet your wife is too.. Good Luck

Matt,

I hope you didn't think I was trying to catch you at anything, just curious thats all.

"I shoot and coach indoor target archery at a local youth club" &"I also love coaching archery" That's great Matt, one of my favorite quotes and I can't remember who said it or where I heard it is "A man is never a tall as when he bends over to help a child."
