I kind of liked the result of this shot if I may say so. Here it is compressed down to 96 kb

That's it, Brian? Well composed? Nothing about the sharpness of detail, the brilliant use of available light and the fact that these were two very ugly little girls prior to my camera work.

Well composed indeed!

Great picture! Did you use a flash and remove red eye with software, or did you use available light?

Thanks. I used flash. I don't recall that there was red eye in this photo or not.

If you got that kind of result with flash and had no red eye to remove, then I am really impressed!!

I've only had the camera about 2-1/2 weeks so I can't be definitive about a lot of things yet but I have noticed less red eye than I used to have with my Olympus 2020Z. I did use flash. I really don't recall using software for removing red eye on this shot and I know for sure I did not use the red eye setting. That's all I can say.
