I was trying to get some indoor shots of my grandson and try as I might he has these bright blue eyes that seem to attract red eye, even flashing him in advance does not work. I shot these at ISO 1600 so they are a little grainy, but I got rid of the red eye :-). Our house is an old dark one so it's hard to get shots in natural light.

I have to laugh because he is so cute, serious and look's like a little man. I love the black and white, I think it adds to his character, not all children can pull it off like he did.

Nadia, like your sister's name

Cute kid. And very good shots at 1600!

You using the built in flash or an external flash? An external flash will minimize red eye significantly -- and eliminate it if you diffuse it or bounce it.

Thanks, I tend to check out how all the photos of people I take look in either black and white or sepia, I love both looks.:-)

Hi,
Love the shots but maybe try some from eyepoint of the child or below, you will see that wil DRAMATICLY improve the shots.

Greetings,
Frank

Thanks Frank, I guess I will have to lie on the floor (although the room is very small, making it a little hard ) I was down on my knees crouching, I need to get lower I know.:-)
