They're all very cool Amy but the second one is my favourite for sure... I don't see the pose as cheesy at all! Trust me I know cheese when I see it!!! You're a very talented photographer and quite an amazing model too if you don't mind me saying so!

You're very pretty!
I like the look of the first one, but the lighting is strange.
The second one is gorgeous. You almost look like a bride in that one, albeit a very young bride :-)
I like your expression in the third one, but you should smile a bit more, as Onyx said.
The fourth one you look put-off. I don't know if that's just my impression, but it seems like you are looking off to the side at something that annoys you.

Lovely, all in all.

What kind of light were you using? Incandescent? How many bulbs, at what wattage and what direction? Sorry to ask so many questions but you really made very nice use of light, considering it was an impromptu thing not in a studio or anything.

Sometimes incandescent light is very nice for photos, it just depends on what you're going for. Did you see the clarinet photos I took in the thread called "vito will appreciate this" over in close-ups? Those were done with an overhead incandescent bulb. It's a lot softer than flourescent lighting, for sure.

Thanks for sharing these Disco, I think they are lovely. Nos 2 and 3 are my favs but certainly NOT because No 3 shows the least of you :-).

I think there is something very appealing about the thought of a "non-outgoing" type for a model, and your "pensive" look works well for me. However, I do also love to see a heartfelt smile :-)

Pleasepost some more.

You and your horse look darling, Amy. That last shot is great - both he (is your horse a he?) and you look like great friends!

#3 with the horse is a great picture. Something to frame and give to the family for Christmas.
