After shooting 150photos, these are the top 4 my wife chose. No editing done, just resized. Critiques always welcome.

Hi Keith;

These are some very nice shots. I think your model looks very natural in front of the camera. I'd expect this kind of poise from a professional, not an amateur. Not to sound facetious, but for 150 shots, I think you did pretty well.

Excellent work.

Thanks Tom,

Our son is fairly natural in front of the camera, after the 1st 100 or so I told him just pose how you want and I'll keep shooting. The last two were his ideas(sitting on the rock, in front of the fountain grass).

He's also a clown....can't be serious all the time

This is where I told him to do a more natural smile

This was his reatcion to "just a few more shots"

Girls of all ages always comment on how attractive his eyes are.

All photos were taken with the Canon 20D and 100mm f/2.8 Macro USM lens

Great series, Keith.

Perhaps, one of accomplished portrait photographers on this forum could weigh in but it seems like your son is a "natural" before your cam.

Kudos on the series, Keith!

Thx digcam,

it's the one behind the camera that's not "natural":?
