A 2 week holiday in India, sounds great!!! But not for me, the thought of being away from surfable beaches is'nt my idea of fun but after a bit of pressure from the missis i eventually gave in.
Lucky for me a tropical storm reared its head in the Ararbian Sea and gave the Goan coast some surf. YAY!! : Problem though- No surfboard!! So i borrowed a tea tray from the hotel and used it as a bodyboard. Not the best thing i've ever used but it worked.

The hotel was fine about it, by the time i got out of the water there was about 10 people on the beach watching and clapping.
My wife took the photo. I just gotta convince her to stand on a beach in the UK and do it! (fat chance! lol)

lol yeah thats exactly what it was like.
The ironic thing is that was the first 'holiday' i've been on for years! Before we got married i spent 3 years travelling and surfing Australia, Indonesia and Europe. Got some great waves but had about 3 very poor photographs taken of me surfing.
The best photo of me surfing in 18 years of doing it is of me riding a tea tray!!!
Cant win em all i guess. :-)

Hey that's smart! I do that but with snowboarding... and it's really hard to do anything.. so 99% of the time I fall and break or sprin something!

The pic is really good quality too!
