Hi,

This is my first picture in "Member's & Famiy". Couldn't figure out how to post a picture from my computer. Hope everything is OK now.

you could put it through something like neatimage or noiseworks (you can download these free online) and that would fix the problem.

Yes, I noticed that neatimage is mentioned a lot here on Steve's forum. Didn't know that I can get it for free . Could you please post a link or something where I can download it from?

Thanks a lot for reply!

P.S. You must have a beautiful weather there in Australia! We have a record breaking freeezzze here in New York:O

I prefer this one for noise reduction

http://www.imagenomic.com/

go down to Noiseware Community Edition and download it for free. I find it is faster and does a better job than neatimage, however I have got both programmes on my computer just in case one of the two does not suit a particular photo for some reason

Outstanding, ak-66.

Catch light in your daughter's eyes is an especially nice touch

That is a very nice photo. Better than a pic a true photo.

Perhaps I can see what you are talking about in her hair strands when you mention oversharpened. My eye is untrained, maybe someone else could help.

Well done indeed.:|
