It's always good to find someonewho is very photogenic without all the makeup. The

angle of you shot exposes the hips dreamatically which becomes a focus point, and I don't think it does justice to her figure. Turning the hips onto an angle or moving your position would overcome this problem. The focus needs tobe decided, then you work your shot around it. Position and angle have a quite an influence.

Photography needs to be practiced and practiced until its instinct - you don't think it just happens.

What nice photos you have here. I just read several articles on how to pose and you have everything going to show the beauty of your wife. Her eyes are very expressive and will photograph well and her hair really frames her face well. The fact that she is quite lovely does no har either.

Some things I read: Point the toes when in the photo, keep the knees away from or even with the torso [ so they don't look oversize] show the hands if using torso or upper body and make them expressive. I'm sure you can find some of the sites I saw on the net. Try to take photos, not snap shots.

A better background would be helpfull, as well as a polarizer in you outdoor shot. If you use CS, you can add other filters that can adjust or hi lite the shot.

Use you flash with bounce and or asheer cloth in front of it [ experiment with this] and pick up a couple sheets of white styrofoam for more light bounce. You can place these with lights facing away from subject and hilight ceartain areas. Try not to get too much shadow on the face so her natual beauty shows.

I can't wait to see more as I am a rank amature also, but these are some things I am working on also.

Best of luck
